PREGUNTAS DE LA HOST FAMILY
Antes de las entrevista uno se pone algo nervioso, mas aun cuando nuestro ingles no es tan bueno pero puedes prepararte para las entrevista practicando un poco que respuestas vas a dar, cada familia es diferente y como tal cada una puede hacer diferentes preguntas pero hay algunas que son comunes:
1. Why do you want to become an au pair? (Esta es la mas usual a pesar que en toda la aplicación lo decimos)
2. what are your plans when you return to your country?
3. Please tell me about your experience in caring for children and that ages
4. How do you handle discipline for children when it is necessary?
5. How do you think you will handle being away from your family and friends for a year? ( esta es importante por que les preocupa que tu nostalgia te haga irte antes de tiempo)
6. Do you think you can handle the cold weather we have here during winter? (en esta a mi me corchaban por que no me gusta el frió y yo era muy sincera me toco aprender a decir que me puedo adaptar a él)
7. what kind of activities would you do with the children if stuck in the house because the weather is cold?
8. Do you have driver's license? how long do you drive?
9. Do you feel comfortable driving with children?
10. How do you feel about working with kids roughly 45 hours a week?
11. Do you like to cook?
12. Do you like to do domestic work? (si te preguntan mucho acerca de esto mi consejo es huye)
13. Where did you learn to speak English?
14. What kind of activities do you like to do with the kids?
15. How do you consider yourself ?
16. Why do you want to come to USA? What are your hopes about the experience?
17. What is your profession or career?
18. What type of classes do you want to take while you are here?
19. What do you think will be hardest thing about living in a foreign country with a new family?
20. Do you like to adventure out on your own to find new places or like to be shown where things are?
